My brain is going off on a bit of a libertarian tangent.

2017-05-09 20:23:57 UTC

It pretty much says that degeneracy ain't nobody's business.

2017-05-09 20:25:02 UTC

I'm revisiting my views on authoritarianism and degeneracy though.

2017-05-09 20:26:37 UTC

My experience with authoritarianism in grade school, was that questioning it wasn't allowed.

2017-05-09 20:27:02 UTC

Children have no rights, bigger stronger men have rights and can beat you.

2017-05-09 20:28:38 UTC

hello

2017-05-09 20:28:43 UTC

Howdy.

2017-05-09 20:28:58 UTC

I am not athoritarianist!

2017-05-09 20:29:14 UTC

Why not?

2017-05-09 20:29:23 UTC

its a stupid system..

2017-05-09 20:29:39 UTC

It sounds like it would be useful for having society work as one functional unit.

2017-05-09 20:29:48 UTC

leader= authority = IS NOT THE SAME AS DICTATORSHIP

2017-05-09 20:30:11 UTC

have you heard about unity in diversity..

2017-05-09 20:30:23 UTC

No, but I'm cringing thinking about it 😃

2017-05-09 20:30:41 UTC

Basically I a mutualist and a liberal conservative.

2017-05-09 20:31:07 UTC

Society can be one efficient unit
and people can still be free within it.

2017-05-09 20:31:17 UTC

I'm not sure I agree.

2017-05-09 20:31:52 UTC

look individual freedrom
happens on a smaller scale
than the collective scale

2017-05-09 20:31:58 UTC

True

2017-05-09 20:32:32 UTC

from a larger perspective individuals
are the building block that society is based on

2017-05-09 20:33:30 UTC

Mutualism is a philosophy that among other things decree
that people work as a collective only when neccessary
and spend most of their time as free individuals.

2017-05-09 20:34:07 UTC

Free individuals that are able to worship their own false gods, engage in buggery, use meth?

2017-05-09 20:34:21 UTC

for example if you go to work
then at work you give up your individuality
but after work you regain your individuality.

2017-05-09 20:34:32 UTC

Sounds good so far.

2017-05-09 20:34:45 UTC

What about in state controlled areas, public space, parks?

2017-05-09 20:35:17 UTC

Also if there is a war , everyone give up their individualism for survival
by being conscripted
and then at peace they regain their individuality.

2017-05-09 20:36:00 UTC

I honestly think that goverment officials
are capable of running parks to everyones betterment
without being tyrants

2017-05-09 20:36:57 UTC

I think public space should be controlled by the goverment
because otherwise gangs will just show up
and people will throw trash everywhere
and vandalize

2017-05-09 20:37:30 UTC

if we have a good task for the goverment to handle
and we know what the purpose is
we shouldn't be so paranoid

2017-05-09 20:37:35 UTC

Generally I believe that humanity is vermin. So yes, they'll trash a park.

2017-05-09 20:38:10 UTC

Unfortunately any authority that we put in charge of keeping the park safe and clean, will most likely also be vermin.

2017-05-09 20:38:27 UTC

I dont think so

2017-05-09 20:38:38 UTC

I think there are good and bad security services..

2017-05-09 20:39:21 UTC

guards tend to become more soft and mild
when crime goes down..

2017-05-09 20:40:06 UTC

What are your views on gun control?

2017-05-09 20:40:09 UTC

you can see that in countries that have low crime rates
than police and security staff become more gentle

2017-05-09 20:40:10 UTC

speaking of crime and authorities

2017-05-09 20:40:40 UTC

I think only home owners and members of sport clubs
should be allowed to have guns

2017-05-09 20:40:55 UTC

Personally I trust a homeless man more than I trust a police officer. At least there is no requirement that a homeless person be stupid like there is for cops.
