If people had formed militias, it could have ended far sooner, but they were taken away one by one.

They still believed in the cause, some even when they were already in the Gulag.

Every productive person in Sweden could just decide to stop paying taxes and the migrant crises would end within a month.

The thing is, people are divided against each other, so they get states that abuse the ones who are most compliant.

The migrant crisis isn't as bad as the Swedish government using it's military to strike it's own people. You keep changing the scenario.
