@Blackhawk342 I totally agree. As a Military veteran who operated under NATO, I know a lot of my old comrades who also operated under the UN. Story was always the same from the ground troops. They could do nothing because their hands were always tied. Case in point, Bosnia
Damnit lol
Peek them off the moon Spectre at all costs lol
*keep* them off, I shall
The Red tape is seirously problematic
It took the UN 2 years to fix what our Commandos did in 6 months
Hang on murbay
I have a good picture for you
Replace UN with League of Democracies. States that fail to meet certain standards of democratic governance are ejected.
now i'm no filthy disgusting communist but why the fuck money cost so much
This is the UN in a nutshell, especially with regards to peacekeeping missions
Hah that rifle is the worst
Haha SA80, cocking handle would fall off at the worst times 😂
no idea why the UN has more than 5 security council members, the perma 5 just dictate everything anyway
the UN is notorious for doing two things in peacekeeping operations: using mostly 3rd world armies and terrible Rules of Engagement
not to mention you would know the magazine Release is on the side where you push it against your chest too hard when running the mag goes bye bye
Uninvolved in Africa
You know, a lot of people call me a contrarian, but I'm just not.
I just saw Tim's latest vid. That typo tho.
Everyone knows immediately that the UN from command and conquer is fictional
In several instances of Africa areas with UN operations saw an increase in rapes and STDs
Because they actually do something
Yup
we do have a Aids problem ill give you that
The first would countries contribute a majority of the funding to the UN, but very little manpower outside of observation missions
Second and third world countries contribute a majority of the manpower but very little to no funding
In the defence of ground troops, they witnessed some of the worst situations simply because they had to watch people being abused but were powerless to do anything. Their opponents knew that too which is why they did things in front of them
Mostly manpower . some of our African union nations Want to stop helping with manpower and help more in joint operations
List of countries and the amount of men they provide

India (7,471)
Pakistan (7,161)
Bangladesh (6,772)
Rwanda (6,146)

Well Howdy doody i never imagine our lazy asses managed to give the UN 1.427
I bet its mostly Former Commando Vets
But yes murbay, ROE doesnt allow them to do anything unless they are fired upon
even then its only defensive actions as far as im aware
back in 2013 we sent soldiers into the Congo . to "help" the goverment over there. turns out it was abit of a . . . poltical nonsense thing wich led to us getting Casualties .
bingo bango bongo i dont want to leave the congo
Lol
Was same under NATO on the ground too @Blackhawk342. However, we did have the advantage of using initiative if the situation called for it. But still tied to same ROE, we just didn't need approval before reacting
Bingo bango bongo im so happy in the jungle where i used to go
