Some socialists on the left have adopted the term libertarian because they want as many good sounding words on their label as possible to feel extra good about themselves. Regardless of how contradictory they are. The same way some non binary people are now calling themselves “gay” or “lesbian” even though by definition you have to be a male or a female to begin with to be either of those labels.
