Well, not modern fascist mind you.

Paganism isn’t inherently fascist by modern standards, from my own studies of the ancient societies the cultures vary significantly.

However, paganism is *quality over quantity* to put it best.

Meaning, throughout all European pagan faiths they placed serious emphasis on health, exercise, traditional families, and labor.

As you can see in *Plato’s Republic*, and *Symposium*, when he and the hellenic philosophers speaks of women and roles of gender, traditional roles are emphasized on.

No where does It mention for example, homosexual relationships carrying into marriage or raising children. It does mention *boy love*, but not that it should be accepted.

As mentioned to alice previously, “**love**” as a meaning meant different things then, it is in fact entirely alien to us now by their meanings. “Love” could be companionship between male friends, giving an acquaintance treatment like you would give to a friend, etc.
