You can't just join a tribe, you must be born into the reservation.

Maybe the best thing for the future of the Native American community and culture would be to relinquish it to the majority of Americans that have at least a one Native American relative and live on the land that they once called home

Then if the birth rates are low, the only real way to preserve culture would be to
A) let people of other races join
B) form colonies with a higher emphasis on children

Those Americans didn't grow up with the culture though. You can't just bring in a group way bigger than a minority culture and expect them to integrate with the culture rather than override it

most people want to have children, its usually external factors that prevent it

So integrating the culture is what you want, the proposition that thats the only available option instead of connecting and accumulating history and then adding it to a musuem and keeping them seperate from our society which tends to twist history in general is a bad move.
I personally think the government should fuck off of them merely because they've already fucked them enough.

Economic incentives to have more children and keep their culture alive is plausible.

But shoving them into american culture just fucks them more than helps

I tend to think that americans tend to sway away from actual culture and instead progressivism causes things like culture to get distorted or become obselete and then people remove things at will. Many people come here and bring cultures with them yet you see them eventually discard parts of it.

I just want to protect the native american culture, because it is apart of me.

I remember when I was in high school I once advocated that the reserves should be dissolved and annexed by the United States because it was a national dishonor to have land not under US control and that the Native Americans should be integrated into the wider American culture

I migrated to america through work. I don't share american ideology, although I understand it.

You should in sense, brush up on it.

A lot of our policies and ideology comes learning from our mistakes.

We are still the new nation in the world, we will make mistakes.

You can make mistakes, you have to acknowledge them and fix them or create policies that prevent as much of it from reoccuring

But thats amongst all countries

We are doing that, acknowledging our mistakes, but at the same time we are not going to infringe upon our citizens rights.

I think we have made considerably less mistakes compared to other countries; it’s in this country that actions considered fine for centuries become immoral
