@jeepercreeper TX that’s a different strain, it -17 version is mildly dangerous due to it rapid mutation, it’s rapid spreading is concerning because kids and elderly are very likely to need to be hospitalized for it. It not something to really fear as a normal heathy adult(unless you smoke). But your chances being hospitalized is stupid high if you fall into the category of elderly or child as the viruses right now.

My wife is a DVM that specializes in orthopedics and did a some work in infectious diseases- she totally believe China was working on a weaponized stain and it got out. SARS didn’t even spread like this and it’s the same family.

That is correct It is a mutated version of that strain -I agree the fear-mongering it a tad bit extreme in the us at the moment, my wife said the report she read mentioned the virus rna strain had tell tale signs of crisper modifications. But there isn’t a real way to prove it. I think it was totally done to take eyes off Hong Kong.
