Good
@Piv ayy Cali boog brother
@RedDiesel95 what’s up my dude?
Haven’t had contact with anyone else this side of enemy territory
In here that is
Yeah man same, for having so much anti-government sentiment most people here still somehow love the boot
On the subject of the virus, don't flip out, keep a level head, fact check. Prep
You're more likely to get shanked for your beans n rice than actually buying the farm due to the virus.
(That sounded better in my head)
Ok, got food covered, need a bit more water it seems, but how bad the situation gets here is gonna depend heavily on how bad LA gets
Always
City dwellers or large bodies of people are gonna be the issue
Just keep a perimeter and good communication with your community or neighbors. Make the newly unprepared feel unwelcome to stay there. Anything's possible in groups.
*throws boog/division*
The hardest part of preparing for anything in this shit is one most people neglect alot. And that's talking to your neighbors
Always
Why talk to your neighbors when you have everything at your fingertips
@Hellhound6 lol
Truth
Probably part of our social degredation
Your average city dweller isn’t the brightest, They might try fleeing to the National parks nearby instead of just getting out of the city, with how urban planning works out here some people should have water and power throughout, I’m in a pretty good community, so hopefully that works out for us
(I've been on a ranting roll about shit like that today)
The tsunami of public panic is going to be the worst part imo
That's what we train for. I can tell you one thing working in public service
In my parts people hear about a 3 day ice storm and buy out entire grocery stores
I live in the PNW btw
Once the safety net of EMS, fire or police break down. IE They dont show up for work, or cant get to an already TAXED system, itll be warlords, clans, and armed churches lol. But hey that's the boogaloo.
rural communities might stand a better chance of living a semi normal life
The public service system is taxed friends, it barely functions on a busy day
And I worked in a rural area
But rural areas will be better because of homegeniety
Homogeneity
Typically the rural communities either get hit the hardest or not at all
I'm leaning towards not at all in my area
From what I understand if you dont eat bats and rats and have a decent immune system you'll be fine
You think it'll actually cause enough panic to disrupt peoples comfort induced trance?
It might
Look at Ebola
Biggest thing is supply lines
Shit didn't hardly touch the US
People still flipped the fuck out
