what's the best way to familiarize myself with guns even if i don't have access to any irl

I started with just hoping around gun shops and asking

i was using this simulated gun app on my phone to figure out how to operate a bunch of them but i still don't know how to take apart and clean most guns

my goal is to become a stacked gun druid in the woods with my own metalworking shop

Go to a range and rent, usually not prohibitively expensive but either that or make friends with access to common types

I don’t know many who wouldn’t take the opportunity to have someone clean their guns after a range trip, or even let you practice stripping them while supervised, honestly just gauge where he stands and see if he’s willing to help you out

@Potion Seller I have mixed feelings. I wouldn't have any ethical qualms about people who want to become Americans joining, but I personally would view "mercenary style" recruiting to be more of a liability than a benefit.

Listen man, theres barely logistics in place for local militias to form, join, or even meet with different groups. If you can reach out to one and say "I want in, I'll be there..." then thats on you, but you'd have to make your own way there
