When I designed this and other characters, I had an animated film in mind about the goblins wanting to enslave a certain land by bringing in groups of warlike races and secretly having the controlled members of the militia provide them with weapons.
I have a fairly well-developed story about this, actually. I just don't think I'll have the time to work on it in the next few years, so I'm devoting my time to smaller pursuits.
