There's a very big difference between high taxes, free market with social programs, and government seizing all property and redistributing it
@Abel it seems they feel that one leads to the other, and in a sense it can.
Bernie recently has made it explicitly clear what he wants, the Nordic system/Canadian Mixed economy
unless there is a firm philosophical underpinning of why one shouldn't lead to the other, which is obvious or well explained to everyone.
Bernie calls it socialism though, which (if anything goes okay) will be used as advertisement for actual state socialism.
