The reason that so many games on VR are shit is because it's experimental and a lot of people making them are just indie devs

with small teams

The best VR games are old games converted to VR

Skyrim, Borderlands 2

and i think it has to do with the slow adoption of it, people are very uncertain of taking the leap into vr because of the skepticism
