Stoners are stupid and lazy, but not violent lol
in the short term
but overall in the longterm
alcohol is worse in many ways
I think they are quite violent, if they don't have parents or government paying for their lifestyle
alcohol is the powerhouse of most domestic violence
Correlation over 50 years lol
but no one goes around saying that alcohol is harmless, like people go around saying weed is
come on man lol
I'll check the first to see if it has anyhting
i'm not sure about you, but if people become more violent over time, i don't see that as a good thing
generally people become naturally less violent over time
Definitely, but you can't use a 50 year correlation study to show that it points to weed
the study was over 50 years
not 50 years ago
"However, 20% of the boys who started using pot by age 18 continued to use it through middle age (32-48 years). One fifth of those who were pot smokers (22%) reported violent behavior that began after beginning to use cannabis, whereas only 0.3% reported violence before using weed. "
18 to 48
30 years w/e
yes, but that doesn't make it desirable
i'm for decriminalising possession, not a user of any of that stuff
but even i can see that it's problem that it leads to
legalising will make it easier to deal with the anti social and criminal fallout more efficiently
I'll read the first study when I get back but that 2nd one doesn't seem reliable. How much did they smoke? How often? Did they choose smoking over their responsibilities? Did that build up over time and cause them regret?
Too many unknown factors, but yeah, too much of anything is definitely bad.
anyway thanks for the links dude. i always like reading up on that stuff
the biggest problem is that psychological side effects can be worse the younger the user is
and obvioiusly for how long they use it for etc.
Morning guys.
Good moaning Dusty.

@Vesdii well i'm super late and idk if you care(sorry) but here goes on the static
everytime you create a variable it assigns a location for it in memory, so say you create a new class that holds multiple variables, each time you create an object of this class to use, it will assign new copies and locatioins in memory for the variables, how ever, if one of the variable is static, locaion in memory is only assigned once and every copy of the class will have the variable be pointing to that same information, so there's only one instance of the variable regardless of how many times you create an object of the class. static class would mean that only one instance of the class will exist.
for example:
```
class example{
var a
static var b
}
main{
example class1
example class2
class1.a = 1
class2.a = 10
class1.b = 100
print class1.a //shows "1"
print class2.a //shows "10"
print class1.b //shows "100"
class2.b = 69
print class1.b //shows "69"
class1.b = 666
print class2.b //shows "666"
}
```
@A Haunted Army what the hell kind of garbage language is this?
The actions of a subgroup of congressmen does not indicate the action of a majority. Just because there is talk of large taxes, impeachment, etc dies not mean it will actually happen. It is disingenuous to say so just as it is disingenuous to suggest the freedom Caucus spoke for the entire Republican majority last session.
