4chan can probably find you with what you just said
Probably
Upper East Side Manhattan. Come at me.
Oof they already found you
Eh, I've been a namefag for long enough.
lol
Not really hiding anything.
We need more survilance. Just not in government hands
nor corporate
Doesnt take much tech to bust, say, illegal CIA operations
I'm gonna be honest
I have no clue how more surveillance would work
open source surveillance?
Would work?
if we dont want to put the cameras on corporate or government property, whats left? residential volunteers?
Most people allready do that
and if its just noncontinuous.
apparently the government is already using residential volunteers to outsources their surveillance
im not saying give everyone access to that surveilance
They don't even have to volunteer. They can access your hard drive anytime they want if they find you relevant.
Central Intelligence Agencies
yeah but i mean cops in washington dc has asked civilians if they can put their cameras on their houses
facing the streets
That's the thing about citizen surveillance. With the internet, it by proxy becomes government surveillance
But idk
helping the feds is not the goal i had in mind
Nah I agree with the concept
It just sucks that they have that advantage
yeah
i just think it's gonna be tricky to boycott the public sector and private sector at the same time, because i dunno how much else there is
i think it was 2013 when the CIA was busted by a simple italien prosecutor. Based on the metadata the phones of these CIA guys gave off
Well, This goes 2 ways
What if we make government surveilance worse
As long as the machine you're recording on to isn't connected to the internet, you could bypass government surveillance
But there couldn't be any NICs in any of the technology you're using
No bluetooth, no wifi, nothing
You can't break in to something that isn't connected to the internet unless you're doing it physically so..
until cops knock on your door and lawfully demand you to hand over the surveillance data
and you can either submit or go to prison or die
I don't think we're there yet.
