also britan broke maritime codes like they ran up friendly flags and u boats would surface then BAM they sunk

also the ship which had americans on it which got us into the war when a german u boat sunk it, it was a warship disguised as a cargo ship

if you happen to do some reseach you'll see how by trying to get peace, they delayed too much and the war begun
