So I've had this client who has been trying to get me to do some work for them for *months* but she kept cancelling on me. Eventually I made a start, then she cancelled the following week, I asked for reimbursement because it was such short notice. She refused. Then at 7am this morning she asked for my bank details so she could pay for the work today, I couldn't reply until half 12 and I asked for four weeks in advance if possible (since she's so prone to cancelling short notice). I just received this message from her: "I'm now away, have been waiting most of the morning for you to send details over so I can't send anything until tonight when I'm home... a demand for it to be paid four weeks in advance rather than on the day does not sit easy with me... especially if you cancel, so I'm maybe thinking I should look for someone else if that's the case."
