@liks not hard. people were able to predict movement of planets thousands of years ago. before we had any model

just observe over time.

and then you can build a predictive model

no need to know any physics

How can only one force predict it so well

Which is how we figured out the planets orbited the sun

@liks simple. you make up whatever numbers you need for size, mass, distance .....to fit your equation

Just a position and an initial velocity and you can predict all future positions
