We see S waves near the surface
Whereas P waves propagate through the mantle

2019-12-23 16:18:58 UTC

thats what you claim

2019-12-23 16:19:10 UTC

can you prove there is a mantle

2019-12-23 16:19:29 UTC

youre just repeating stories

2019-12-23 16:19:37 UTC

^^

2019-12-23 16:19:46 UTC

Well to be fair he never shot a p wave unless he was pissing in a river

2019-12-23 16:19:49 UTC

Gobstopper model from elementary school

2019-12-23 16:19:51 UTC

How can someone in Cali detect an earthquake in Japan? On a flat plane, this would require it to curve up

2019-12-23 16:20:04 UTC

vibrations can't travel laterally?

2019-12-23 16:20:14 UTC

in a solid substrate?

2019-12-23 16:20:23 UTC

You don’t get P waves across the surface

2019-12-23 16:20:25 UTC

Ok there is something called diffraction

2019-12-23 16:20:47 UTC

You get S and surface waves, but P waves travel much faster

2019-12-23 16:20:49 UTC

so what

2019-12-23 16:21:05 UTC

Why the waves curves

2019-12-23 16:21:05 UTC

Wym so what

2019-12-23 16:21:10 UTC

Yeah

2019-12-23 16:21:14 UTC

you have no evidence what the wves are traveling through

2019-12-23 16:21:23 UTC

Yes we do

2019-12-23 16:21:25 UTC

Yes we do

2019-12-23 16:21:28 UTC

Omg

2019-12-23 16:21:29 UTC

Density affects speed

2019-12-23 16:21:34 UTC

what is the evidence

2019-12-23 16:21:42 UTC

Seismologists

2019-12-23 16:21:43 UTC

so its something dense

2019-12-23 16:21:58 UTC

@RadRhys It is flat and if the ground releases a charge and the crust is one large piece with some cracks in it that release a charge it would cause a reverberation of vibrations out from the initial point and over water those vibrations would cause Tsunamis which we have seen in the past.

2019-12-23 16:22:00 UTC

ok so the word seismologists proves it

2019-12-23 16:22:14 UTC

They detects vibrations from earthquakes

2019-12-23 16:22:20 UTC

i present to you evidence

2019-12-23 16:22:26 UTC

Tsunamis are a cause of earthquakes, but do not cause and are not earthquakes

2019-12-23 16:22:28 UTC

seismologists!

2019-12-23 16:22:33 UTC

Sorry, I worded that wrong

2019-12-23 16:22:36 UTC

Are caused by*

2019-12-23 16:22:52 UTC

@RadRhys Where did I day they were earthquakes at?

2019-12-23 16:23:04 UTC

Not only do they prove globe earths, they prove the inner layers of the earth

2019-12-23 16:23:07 UTC

earthquakes cause tsunamis therefor the earth is a ball

2019-12-23 16:23:31 UTC

No I didn’t say that

2019-12-23 16:23:31 UTC

What do tsunamis have to do with the conversation then, sassy

my evidence, "seismologists"
