Problem with that is you'll have accelerated to light speed within a year

2020-03-06 00:22:15 UTC

What

2020-03-06 00:22:16 UTC

<:kirbo:677658524289073152>

2020-03-06 00:22:21 UTC

It's a constant

2020-03-06 00:22:45 UTC

9.8m/s

2020-03-06 00:23:04 UTC

Constant acceleration

2020-03-06 00:23:11 UTC

9.81 m/s /s

2020-03-06 00:23:22 UTC

So you acccelerate 9.81 m/s per second

2020-03-06 00:24:35 UTC

Ah I see, I interpreteded the way it would work in a flat Earth wrong

2020-03-06 00:25:18 UTC

I thought the earth just moved up with the speed of 9.8m/s, but that would mean objects wouldn't accelerate when falling down, my bad

2020-03-06 00:25:34 UTC

Ah yeah, I can see the confusion

2020-03-06 00:25:54 UTC

So that just makes their model more confusing

2020-03-06 00:26:02 UTC

If it was a constant speed, then there would be no force

2020-03-06 00:26:30 UTC

They can't seem to accept to be on a globe that's rotating very fast, but they accept being on a flat disk accelerating endlessly

2020-03-06 00:26:39 UTC

Apparently

2020-03-06 00:27:14 UTC

and, indeed, faster than light speed

2020-03-06 00:27:26 UTC

True

2020-03-06 00:27:31 UTC

<:confused:625494374402228244>

2020-03-06 00:28:31 UTC

Even using the creationist age of the Earth that's still 6-8 thousand times faster than light speed

2020-03-06 00:29:19 UTC

Never thought of that

2020-03-06 00:29:46 UTC

<:smart:484956754489376781>

2020-03-06 00:33:52 UTC

Or in other words "1000 mph spin is far too fast and unreasonable! Much more realistic to just be travelling upwards at 5000000000000 mph!"

2020-03-06 00:34:10 UTC

Lmao, I see the logic

2020-03-06 00:35:43 UTC

Also, another thing I've thought of, they say things seem to disappear the farther away they go due to perspective, but what if you have a helicopter far away that you can clearly see. It's not moving towards you or away from you, but it's landing and it disappears behind the horizon

2020-03-06 00:36:21 UTC

I don't think that explanation of perspective would work

1) Debunked many times. Just beacause you state you're 'taking into account other effects' does not mean you have.
2) Refraction over water.
3) Out of focus.

2020-03-06 00:40:32 UTC

Does the video imply the moon emits it's own light?

2020-03-06 00:41:27 UTC

I'm confused

2020-03-06 00:42:29 UTC

Does anyone else believe that the world is a decagon? It makes sense when you think about it also hi guys i'm new here

2020-03-06 00:46:55 UTC

I recommend people make the primary observations instead of regurgitating their beliefs in secondary information @Pit Droid 😴
+ I don't preach beliefs, I am asking to compare results to reduce the false variables @Trixxle 🕵
It's good to be a "globe skeptic" with an open mind @Retro Gaming Central 🤔

2020-03-06 00:47:40 UTC

i believe that the moon is a hologram and bees can't fly

2020-03-06 00:47:57 UTC

thanks

2020-03-06 00:48:20 UTC

Well, props for actually doing experiments anyway, I respect that @Howard George Stirrup

2020-03-06 00:48:31 UTC

Did not notice it was your own video

2020-03-06 00:49:41 UTC

i mean how can bees fly.According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Anyways as i was saying the earth is a triangle

2020-03-06 00:49:53 UTC

Oh god

2020-03-06 00:50:29 UTC

I respect the meme knowledge but I don't think this is the place

2020-03-06 00:50:30 UTC

<:confused:625494374402228244>

2020-03-06 00:51:18 UTC

i'm just kidding the earth is a sphere and alabama doesn't exist thats my genuine theory to some extent though the world could be a triangle but i am not sure
