You can see the gray in the air, and when you step out of the plane you can actually smell and see the difference
China, unlike the US, is a Proletarian state. Its policies on the environment aren't stagnant.
Not to say that China's state apparatus isnt conducive to economic growth but its far easier to attain growth when your economy is transforming from a largely agrarian to a more sophisticated modern one with higher rates of urbanization and manufacturing.

It's not really a gottem, they are trying to move green by building nuclear reactors.
They're working on it. One of the purposes of their current 5-year-plan is to be more green.
I trust China to do as it says when its own people are involved.
It was more of a pointing out that electric transportation isn't really "green" if the electric generation process isn't "green"
It's green when they're looking towards moving green on all angles.
