If its legit then Dept. of rural development and land reform has a mole quite high up.

2018-08-12 08:10:17 UTC

So are we going to go to these farms?

2018-08-12 08:10:50 UTC

To clarify:

1. The list comes from the Dept Of Land Reform
2. Whether or not it's a final list, is uncertain.
3. The fact that it comes from the government is the most important part.
4. Details are less important.
5. There shouldn't be a list at all.

2018-08-12 08:10:50 UTC

According to Rapport there will be compensation

@Jerm I agree, there shouldn't be any such list or attempt to grab land, yet here we are

2018-08-12 08:14:59 UTC

At this point the owners of the farms would need to approach Afriforum themselves. Leaks like this could always be part of Intel agencies testing the readiness of the Farming community and seeing if the bait is taken. Interesting info though, only time will tell if this is a genuine leak or if its an attempt to gauge the Farming communities readiness.

2018-08-12 08:15:24 UTC

@HoppeanSnake_ZA yes, I agree

2018-08-12 08:17:53 UTC

The fact that Afriforum has thrown their weight behind it increases the likelihood that these leaks are legit. Anybody know of an online database where farm names and portion numbers can be accessed?

2018-08-12 08:19:17 UTC

The state doesn't have enough money to compensate farmers at the full price. Which makes it a land grab.

2018-08-12 08:19:56 UTC

Exactly, they lie...all the time

2018-08-12 09:31:52 UTC

I've been getting some more info. I'll share it with patrons, since that room is closed to the public.

2018-08-12 10:11:26 UTC

how do i become a patron

2018-08-12 10:17:09 UTC

Well, there's an exam, and an initiation period, at the end of which you have to take part in a secret ritual

2018-08-12 10:17:31 UTC

Seems legit

2018-08-12 10:18:16 UTC

Totally

2018-08-12 10:18:41 UTC

I'm sure @jerm will provide a link to patreon

2018-08-12 10:18:55 UTC

thanks.. I will find it on his twitter

2018-08-12 10:19:13 UTC

That's option 2 for becoming a patron

2018-08-12 10:19:31 UTC

aaaahhh ... do tell

2018-08-12 10:19:42 UTC

I suppose you could create an account on patreon.com and then just find Jerm

2018-08-12 10:20:05 UTC

Unless you'd prefer the first option

2018-08-12 10:20:28 UTC

3rd option?

2018-08-12 10:20:37 UTC

LOL I have the link... no worries

2018-08-12 10:21:07 UTC

Haha glad more are coming onboard, welcome

2018-08-12 10:21:17 UTC

2018-08-12 10:36:48 UTC

https://www.scribd.com/document/386002876/What-Will-Happen-When-The-ANC-Takes-My-Farm

This is written by a farmer who wants to remain anonymous.

2018-08-12 10:37:48 UTC

ja, saw that, I'm sure he's not the only one

2018-08-12 10:50:42 UTC

2018-08-12 12:41:25 UTC

Why!!!

2018-08-12 15:43:27 UTC

What we really need are photos - for people to go to these farms and small towns, photo-document the life they're living, and share that out

2018-08-12 15:43:45 UTC

Make the cost of EWC visible in real terms - houses, families, children

2018-08-12 19:16:42 UTC

Are any of you based in Natal? Or know farmers/people in Natal who would be willing to help one of the farmers on the list? I told him to contact afriforum, but I also said I'll try find people willing, able and close enough to go help if needs be. I'm asking everywhere so I thought I might as well try here as well.

2018-08-12 19:17:46 UTC

No, I'm in GP
