Barrel needs to be registered with your license it seems

2018-07-17 18:07:32 UTC

Thanks Frederick

Well enjoy the CAD files, for educational purposes

Ditsem! @Frederick Bernal, you just advanced to level 2!

2018-07-17 18:09:45 UTC

Its stupidly difficult to get a gun licence now, my cousin needed a police officer to sign his form and in the police station a black officer said "why do you need a gun? your going to kill my people with it?' and tore it up.

2018-07-17 18:10:07 UTC

That is stupid

2018-07-17 18:10:35 UTC

yaman and the irony is that we all had guns and handed them over in the amnesty

2018-07-17 18:11:02 UTC

It would be interesting to know those numbers

2018-07-17 18:11:09 UTC

I imagine some people held back some

2018-07-17 18:11:50 UTC

Even here in Canada when we had 4-5 million licensed people only half opted in the new licensed system

2018-07-17 18:12:00 UTC

That was back in the 90s

2018-07-17 18:12:07 UTC

will never get them all, also i suspect that they sold alot of them to criminals or 'lost' them

2018-07-17 18:12:36 UTC

The RCMP screwed the pooch on the registry as well as half of the data got scrambled

2018-07-17 18:12:57 UTC

So there are a lot of firearms off the reserve

2018-07-17 18:13:08 UTC

They aren’t being used in crimes though

2018-07-17 18:13:31 UTC

More likely to have been tucked away in SA

2018-07-17 18:13:45 UTC

Depending on the circumstances for each owner at that time

2018-07-17 18:14:02 UTC

oh no i mean the police sell the confiscated ones

2018-07-17 18:14:02 UTC

Ditsem! @The Fleeb, you just advanced to level 1!

2018-07-17 18:14:12 UTC

Australia had people burying a lot of guns right before their gun ban

2018-07-17 18:14:15 UTC

No doubt

2018-07-17 18:14:31 UTC

The police are generally incompetent or corrupt no matter where you go

2018-07-17 18:15:03 UTC

They can’t stop firearm smuggling and generally keep what they like

2018-07-17 18:15:44 UTC

It seems the only way we can keep our guns is from a grassroots level. I know of only the Freedom Front Plus who spoke out against this outrageous gun law .

2018-07-17 18:17:11 UTC

Yeah, I mean I haven’t ever seen advertisements in Canada with regard to firearm rights

2018-07-17 18:17:26 UTC

Not even in the US the few times I have visited

2018-07-17 18:17:55 UTC

But saw one very quickly when I visited SA a few years back shortly after leaving the airport heading to Pretoria

2018-07-17 18:18:15 UTC

Plenty of guns were held back by people, but i suspect many were/gets confiscated when the estate is handled as the kids wont risk taking it.

2018-07-17 18:18:24 UTC

Shame

2018-07-17 18:19:23 UTC

We have a small movement here in Canada taking de-activated firearms (AKs, FALs, etc) and restoring them to function

2018-07-17 18:20:00 UTC

It is getting harder as the authorities realized the the deactivation process was far too lax

2018-07-17 18:20:22 UTC

So they have stepped it up and did some massive butcher work to deactivate firearms now

2018-07-17 18:20:45 UTC

Still

2018-07-17 18:21:02 UTC

There are still plenty of firearms that get smuggled into Canada

2018-07-17 18:21:09 UTC

Wouldn’t doubt the same happens in SA

2018-07-17 18:21:38 UTC

They cannot reliably check every sea container that enters the country

2018-07-17 18:21:58 UTC

Barely 1% are looked at here in Canada or the US

2018-07-17 18:22:26 UTC

So I can only imagine what happens at the ports elsewhere
