To be honest I think these farm seizures have nothing to do with farming. They are targeting farms with critical resources underneath them, I bet that the Chinese have already told the South African Gov that in order to get another bail out they need to hand over mineral deposit leases.
Dont you find it strange not even after a few days of the BRICCS meeting with China and Russia we got the news Land Expropriation will happen. Not said farms have minerals
South Africa is by far the most mineral/resource rich country on the planet, I keep learning about minerals for the first time that South Africa has a monopoly on, for instance 80% of the worlds Manganese. That's vital for galvanising metal.

something awfully similar happened in America a few years ago, the first Bundy Ranch standoff, the Bundy family settled a ranch in Nevada long before Nevada even became a part of America, the American government had secretly sold off their land to the chinese for minerals and to start a solar farm there, the American government just claimed that they hadn't paid their taxes and tried to seize it off them,however the bundy's were willing to fight to the death so it didn't happen.

I have only glanced over a couple yesterday as i was too busy,wil check into it further this week/weekend. Ever since that deal with china,EWC is being fast tracked and the fracking is back on the table. Its no secret that china is heavily invested in africa.
