Oh ok. In the boer war the orange was at the bottom of the 4kleur. It was the whole stripe at the bottom unlike the one i showed you before that i altered. Orange representing the OVS,if we had won the second boer war i'm sure we would have merged the two boer countries and use a similar flag,the 5 kleur.

I think we would have joined germany in ww1/2. We didn't want to fight them in south west africa in ww1,but were forced to under smuts and botha and the british government at the time.

@Malcolm the Seceder it's mostly all the republics that where found after the "groot trek" took place . But for the most part it's usually the old SA flag and two boer republics( transvaal and the OVS) flags thst you will see afrikaners use,they were independent countries recognised by the world,the others were short lived "republics".

@Malcolm the Seceder More people also use the" 4 kleur" (transvaal)than the OVS flag. The people who lived in the apartheid era prefer to use the old SA flag than the boer republic flags. The younger generation i would say prefer all 3 flags as it a reflection of our entire history so they are not too attached to just one,hoewever i do see the 4 kleur mentioned more with younger folk born after apartheid. I hope that explains it a bit
