x-fit endurance type program is hard to recover from without sterioids, probably impossible to recover from without sterioids if you're over 30. However, a guy your age with a normal T level that eats and sleeps enough can do it if the strength and conditioning coach he's working with isn't an idiot

Cardio on a stair climber is for fags

2017-03-15 18:18:01 UTC

Go find a HS stadium and run bleachers

2017-03-15 18:18:10 UTC

running downhill is dangerous

2017-03-15 18:18:11 UTC

I used to do 1-2 hours of cardio after a 1-2 hour workout, 3 days a week 52 weeks a year. As long as I did it back to back its not a big deal, as the amount you strain your muscles isn't important as long as you eat well and have adequate healing time

2017-03-15 18:18:24 UTC

@Zorost how much did you deadlift

2017-03-15 18:18:30 UTC

Yes, running down hill is very bad for your knees

2017-03-15 18:18:32 UTC

No idea

2017-03-15 18:18:35 UTC

mmm

2017-03-15 18:18:40 UTC

so you weren't strength training?

2017-03-15 18:18:59 UTC

I know how many plates I had on, and put htat many plates on until I felt I could put more plates on

2017-03-15 18:19:05 UTC

I don't lift to impress other men with numbers

2017-03-15 18:19:14 UTC

how many plates did you have on

2017-03-15 18:19:35 UTC

2017-03-15 18:19:52 UTC

My favorite Youtuber does my PR for his thrid from last warm up set when he deadlifts

2017-03-15 18:20:04 UTC

@Caerulus_Rex yeah steroids exist I know

2017-03-15 18:20:06 UTC

but you have to admit

2017-03-15 18:20:09 UTC

I could do 30 pullups while weighing about 270, and play a half of rugby as a prop w/o having a heart attack

2017-03-15 18:20:15 UTC

that telling a total lifting novice that he should run and also lift

2017-03-15 18:20:17 UTC

is bad advice

2017-03-15 18:20:23 UTC

he should focus on one

2017-03-15 18:20:27 UTC

and not put himself in jeapordy

2017-03-15 18:20:30 UTC

or howevery ou spell it

2017-03-15 18:21:11 UTC

Depends on what his goals are

2017-03-15 18:21:17 UTC

under the supervision of a strength and conditioning coach that knows what he is doing, or if you have enough agency to read books yourself, a novice can both lift and run

2017-03-15 18:21:45 UTC

In Afghanistan I did all of the following simultaneously:

2017-03-15 18:21:46 UTC

well Slug is lifting by himself

2017-03-15 18:21:52 UTC

Do hard stuff, your body hardens to adapt to it.

2017-03-15 18:21:56 UTC

and again, we are talking about a novice

2017-03-15 18:22:00 UTC

I dont care how awesome you are

2017-03-15 18:22:01 UTC

Increased my Squat, Dead Lift and Press PRs

2017-03-15 18:22:10 UTC

if slug gets injured he will never be able to lift to his max ever in his entire life

2017-03-15 18:22:12 UTC

Reduced my body fat %

2017-03-15 18:22:15 UTC

holy shit

2017-03-15 18:22:16 UTC

Reduced my 40 time

2017-03-15 18:22:22 UTC

lol

2017-03-15 18:22:30 UTC

I dont care
don't tell slug he can do backflips 10x10 before doing deadlift PR

2017-03-15 18:22:32 UTC

it's dangerous

2017-03-15 18:22:56 UTC

The only person I know of that has a longer list of sports injuries than me is professional wrestler mick foley

2017-03-15 18:23:13 UTC

he should juggle chainsaws while lifting. Or google this shit himself rather than depend on a bunch of dumbasses on the interest

2017-03-15 18:23:45 UTC

I added to my squat PR the other day, 3 months after my knee being so fucked up I couldn't squat 95 lbs without intolerable pain
