they keep it going forever

2017-03-19 19:17:34 UTC

and collect hilarious amounts of money for no reason

2017-03-19 19:18:09 UTC

Thanks for sharing that, I never knew how fucked things were when it came to the medicine question

2017-03-19 19:18:30 UTC

well that's just medical research

2017-03-19 19:18:35 UTC

actual medicine at hospitals is different

2017-03-19 19:18:50 UTC

Yeah, but when it comes to inventing new cures for shit and stuff

2017-03-19 19:18:53 UTC

with the whole "hello my name is Pablo Sanche- I MEAN, my name is George Wallace, please give me free healthcare"

2017-03-19 19:18:58 UTC

"Okay goodbye see you never lol"

2017-03-19 19:19:35 UTC

I suppose with this knowledge, those memes saying "They already know the cure for cancer but are holding it back to cull the population" is less funny and more deebly goncerning

2017-03-19 19:20:22 UTC

@Accipiter the cure for cancer is killing the cells

2017-03-19 19:20:27 UTC

everyone knows how to cure cancer

2017-03-19 19:20:29 UTC

you kill the tumor

2017-03-19 19:20:34 UTC

it's just a question of ways to kill the cancer

2017-03-19 19:20:41 UTC

>Oy vey, we'll fight cancer and find the way to cure it for good, gib moneys pl0x

2017-03-19 19:20:51 UTC

for instance there are TONS of ways of getting poisons to cancer cells reliably

2017-03-19 19:21:00 UTC

lel, Cosmetic prices goes down meanwhile real medicines are fucked.

2017-03-19 19:21:05 UTC

but they're still in FDA approval stage after like 10 years

2017-03-19 19:21:21 UTC

Oh gawd!

2017-03-19 19:21:37 UTC

I know of like 25 labs right now that are doing cancer research

and finding ways of delivering poisons to cancer cells

2017-03-19 19:21:49 UTC

Gotta make sure that it's safe, sure it may take a decade but better safe than sorry right goy? OOoh sorry, champ... We denied it, better luck next time

2017-03-19 19:21:50 UTC

and they submit to FDA and then find another and submit and do it over and over

2017-03-19 19:21:56 UTC

because they're all going to be rejected

2017-03-19 19:22:00 UTC

.01%

2017-03-19 19:22:13 UTC

@Accipiter and like I said, it's still not enough

2017-03-19 19:22:41 UTC

their "regulation" assumes good manufacturing practices which is never the case because half of the things we make are assembled in a good place, but the pieces are from china

2017-03-19 19:23:12 UTC

plastics that leach, aluminum with lead in it, bolts that were not annealed so they're brittle

2017-03-19 19:23:12 UTC

etc

2017-03-19 19:23:50 UTC

Around Chinks, screw tight your links

2017-03-19 19:24:08 UTC

I remember one case study of one of those heated cribs for newlyborns
And it passed FDA approval

but when they were plugged in, the crib got so hot it melted the plastic and baked the baby

it was because the components weren't made correctly

2017-03-19 19:24:13 UTC

even though the device itself was up to snuff

2017-03-19 19:24:19 UTC

and where do you think the components came from

2017-03-19 19:24:29 UTC

>heated cribs

2017-03-19 19:24:36 UTC

That's like a human incubator, topkek!

2017-03-19 19:24:41 UTC

yeah, its for hospitals

2017-03-19 19:25:00 UTC

And the cheap incubators do actually end up exploding or overheating, thus killing the chicks by roasting them

2017-03-19 19:25:11 UTC

no no no

2017-03-19 19:25:16 UTC

in china they give birth at home

2017-03-19 19:25:26 UTC

or at a hosptial which then throws the baby back in their arms and kicks them out
