*Pet pet pet*
No farrari until you eat your broccoli!!!
oh shit, girl! where!
XD
*Points at @Abbysol*
also Pink is sexest, how dare you assume that girls would prefer a pink car, you are just enforcing your white heteronormative, patriarchal ways.... also I'm not a girl, I am an attack helicopter, so how dare you try to enforce your toxic masculinity on me
/Passes out
how was that?
xD
If you're an attack helicopter can I ride you XP
Sorry xD
RAPE!!! xD
omg, I'm sorry, I can't do this anymore xD
I've been tempted to buy one of those drone thingies, but I know if I did I'd probably crash it in the first ten minutes and be out a load of cash
I've seen a guy who flies one around my town, he got some really good video during the floods
lol
I'd love to get one but they are so expensive, but apparently they are really stable and easy to fly
Well I posted it, but I think there are other similar studies as well. Quite possibly better ones. For example the studies conclusion says that a significant part of the bias is caused by upmarking weaker students in math (which tends to be girls) yet the study also mentions that this accounts for 7.5% of the bias, which I wouldn't call that significant
Significant is a technical term
Perhaps, but where's the theory on where the rest of the unaccounted for %? It mentions also disruptive behaviour at 3.5% for instance, but there's a huge amount of 'unknown' which should lead to further theories
Right, but you hardly expect the first few studies to quantify the problem to fully establish causal relationships
True. I guess what I expected was that in the conclusion it would list the next studies to be carried out in order to build upon the current one
Why is @InsaneCaterpilla baby talking? I don't know if it's off putting or turning me on.
😉
The studies need to be carried out first. You can't point at studies that don't exist yet.
That's just a recipe for jynxing it
I wasn't saying it should, I was saying the study should suggest further studies that could be carried out to investigate the unknown %
Also papers don't always end the way they began so citing a title for something that might be slightly different could be confusing
Oh they often do.
But they won't give specifics
Oh yeah so reading it it looks like they offer policy advice. So my guess is there's no money for the study.
Doesn't mean a little pressure on the right people won't keep it in the public eye 😏
Course there's no money for a study, anything that shows girls/woman have a bias in favour of them is obviously lies constructed by the patriarchy TM
Indeed 🙁
Still. Ever the optimist
That reminds me, I need to get my oppression card renewed
Nah, haven't you heard, they're just gonna tax men more and out it directly into women's bank accounts instead. How dare anyone make women apply for a card to have true equality. They should just sit there and receive money
oh shit, even better, less effort for more return, sign me up xD
