I agree with most of his ideas. There should be right to a trial if you're actually of a crime, presumption of innocence, it would be very difficult to ban a religion even in private so that's probably foolish, a warrant should be obtained in order to search private property, etc.

Yes banning mosques is far easier than banning Islam. There are also ways to reduce the amount of Islam indirectly like no more Muslim Immigration. You interview immigrant applications and screen out Muslims. They could lie and slip through, but you'll eliminate 99% of them

@campodin I wanna point out two more examples of state as an organised nation... and that would be firstly: 1. polish noble democracy (14-the century - 18-the century) where the right to grant nobility was taken away from the king and granted to parliament (as such overall only around 400 foreign nobles were nobilitised during the existence of polish noble democracy (around 400 years)). The nobility of that period also had its own ethnic origin myth and expressed a lot of patriotic feelings. 2. Bohdan Chmielnicki rebellion that happened in Poland at that time (that had ethnic character and was a de facto attempt at state creation). And yes I know that people of non noble birth weren't seen as nationals at that time but I am sure you can still see that those two examples underline the tendency.
