Bad meme

I've been wanting to hang every goddamn brony for years

Thought they were communist cucked faggots

What time line are we in guys?

2017-04-04 16:37:52 UTC

@Convo what the hell are you going to do with a PhD in engineering?

2017-04-04 16:40:30 UTC

Bronies are lower on the shitlist when it comes to degeneracy, furfags in general are worse as Bronies for the most part keep their pathetic horse fetish under wraps.

2017-04-04 16:40:38 UTC

But they're still bronies,

2017-04-04 16:48:12 UTC

unless he's going to infiltrate the intelligencia he's going to do about the same as all the engineers I know that have a BS

2017-04-04 16:48:49 UTC

Yeah, a BS in engineering is the most valuable degree you can get, in terms of ROI

2017-04-04 16:49:11 UTC

MS econ is the best master's

2017-04-04 16:49:19 UTC

PhD just prices you out of the workforce

2017-04-04 16:49:24 UTC

Unless you want to teach

2017-04-04 16:49:56 UTC

The only Engineer that I know that has higher than a BS has an MS, and adjusted for cost of living, he makes less than any of the others with a BS

2017-04-04 16:50:31 UTC

The license is what matters

2017-04-04 16:50:40 UTC

Once you get your license and get hired you're set

2017-04-04 16:50:49 UTC

Of course, part of that is because he works at a very prestigeous company with the attitude that "being able to say you work here is compensation enough, most engineers would beg to work here for free, fuck you"

2017-04-04 16:51:58 UTC

maybe, maybe not. The ones I've asked have told me "nah, I don't really need my EIT, I already have a job at a place that doesn't give a fuck about that"

2017-04-04 16:52:31 UTC

I guess it depends on what you do. For a lot of jobs you need the cert

2017-04-04 16:52:55 UTC

But more important is GPA. If you don't graduate with 3.0+ undergrad GPA as an engineer you're screwed

2017-04-04 16:53:46 UTC

@vonGoethe i am a research engineer doing medical stuff

2017-04-04 16:53:56 UTC

if i was mech you'd be right

2017-04-04 16:54:04 UTC

I see. That makes sense

2017-04-04 16:54:07 UTC

In my field the cert matters, but you can get hired without it, most companies pay for your first attempt at the exam if you've been working there for a while, and raise your pay if you pass

2017-04-04 16:54:29 UTC

lol at reasearch anything

2017-04-04 16:54:35 UTC

Fed gov just dropped half a billion bones in research going into manufacturing tissues for personalized medicine

2017-04-04 16:54:50 UTC

it's going to be an assembly line

2017-04-04 16:54:52 UTC

1. Scan

2017-04-04 16:54:55 UTC

2. Acquire tissues

2017-04-04 16:54:57 UTC

3. Assemble

2017-04-04 16:54:59 UTC

4. Implant

2017-04-04 16:55:16 UTC

also there's all kinds of weird shit going on

2017-04-04 16:55:44 UTC

I met the guy that was responsible for the last decline in DNA sequencing

2017-04-04 16:55:46 UTC

If I could go back in time 2 yrs I would go EE or ME
But I started as econ major and took all the lower div econ credits already
Switched to applied math major but too late to take the engineering pre-reqs
>tfw BTFO the chinks in physics but won't be an engineer

2017-04-04 16:55:55 UTC

dropped the price from like 10 cents per base pair to like .0001

2017-04-04 16:55:56 UTC

yeah but did you smoke pot with Johnny Hopkins

2017-04-04 16:55:59 UTC

or something ridiculous like that
