Does anyone think that the Oscars are a legitimate award ceremony used to recognize talent and skills on a merit system?
It is all pandering and superficial displays to the public to demonstrate how 'diverse' they are.
If you are black, gay, active liberal, a woman or any combination--- you are almost guaranteed an Oscar regardless of your performance.
