2017-04-12 21:17:32 UTC

@wyatt I went to the store, that stuff was like 5$ a serving

2017-04-12 21:17:32 UTC

Yea I will just stay lean and fit lol, my genetics are not fit for bulking, No one on my father's side has ever been fat, or Has been insanely bulked

2017-04-12 21:17:34 UTC

preposterous

2017-04-12 21:17:38 UTC

one of those shakes is like. 1600 calories

2017-04-12 21:17:42 UTC

I like fast acting Leucine protein post lift

2017-04-12 21:18:02 UTC

My family is all big in chest and legs, lol probably from carrying heavy ass kit in mil really

2017-04-12 21:18:22 UTC

the optimum nutrition mass gainer chocolate tasts EXACTLY like yoohoo

2017-04-12 21:18:24 UTC

cottage cheese is a good cheapo fast acting protein

2017-04-12 21:18:24 UTC

@Vanguard fun fact
leucine is one amino acid
you need a nice big spectrum of them to make all the proteins

2017-04-12 21:18:31 UTC

Yes I am aware.

2017-04-12 21:18:31 UTC

why leucine btw

2017-04-12 21:18:33 UTC

I need to start doing some excercise before it gets hot again

2017-04-12 21:18:43 UTC

24/7 I'm on my computer

2017-04-12 21:18:47 UTC

Yea my dad lift well over his body weight, but he is a skinny dude.

2017-04-12 21:18:54 UTC

Same with my grandpa

High-performance physical activity and postexercise recovery lead to significant changes in amino acid and protein metabolism in skeletal muscle. Central to these changes is an increase in the metabolism of the BCAA leucine. During exercise, muscle protein synthesis decreases together with a net increase in protein degradation and stimulation of BCAA oxidation. The decrease in protein synthesis is associated with inhibition of translation initiation factors 4E and 4G and ribosomal protein S6 under regulatory controls of intracellular insulin signaling and leucine concentrations. BCAA oxidation increases through activation of the branched-chain α-keto acid dehydrogenase (BCKDH). BCKDH activity increases with exercise, reducing plasma and intracellular leucine concentrations. After exercise, recovery of muscle protein synthesis requires dietary protein or BCAA to increase tissue levels of leucine in order to release the inhibition of the initiation factor 4 complex through activation of the protein kinase mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR). Leucine's effect on mTOR is synergistic with insulin via the phosphoinositol 3-kinase signaling pathway. Together, insulin and leucine allow skeletal muscle to coordinate protein synthesis with physiological state and dietary intake.

Nesquik is the only protein drink you need

2017-04-12 21:19:30 UTC

OVALTINEEEE

2017-04-12 21:19:38 UTC

Strykeeeeeer!

2017-04-12 21:19:42 UTC

STRYKERRRRRRRR

2017-04-12 21:20:00 UTC

ovaltine > everything else

2017-04-12 21:20:32 UTC

no cunt shut up

2017-04-12 21:20:35 UTC

yoohoo is better

2017-04-12 21:20:39 UTC

no

2017-04-12 21:20:42 UTC

YES

2017-04-12 21:20:45 UTC

I worked out a bit harder yesterday than I usually do, and the left side of my back is fucking killing me

2017-04-12 21:20:47 UTC

nuhuh

2017-04-12 21:20:49 UTC

What the hell did i do

2017-04-12 21:20:54 UTC

stretching?

2017-04-12 21:20:59 UTC

tbh v overlooked

2017-04-12 21:21:00 UTC

Probably

2017-04-12 21:21:02 UTC

is it doms or did you snap ur shit

2017-04-12 21:21:05 UTC

before and after

2017-04-12 21:21:09 UTC

I stretch

2017-04-12 21:21:21 UTC

and if not, you loose range of motion etc in muscle groupings

2017-04-12 21:21:27 UTC

I stretch like a muuuu

2017-04-12 21:21:34 UTC

The thing is I worked out, then went and did a ton of yard work

2017-04-12 21:21:39 UTC

not super flexible still

2017-04-12 21:21:46 UTC

Maybe it was the yard work that done me in
