This scares the bejeebers outta me...no lie. WTH? First, he falsely characterized Wikileaks as a hostile non-state intelligence agency (despite lauding it during the election), and then used this false categorization to launch an attack on the First Amendment.

So we face a crucial question: What can we do about this? What can and should CIA, the United States, and our allies do about the unprecedented challenge posed by these hostile non-state intelligence agencies?

While there is no quick fix—no foolproof cure—there are steps that we can take to undercut the danger. First, it is high time we called out those who grant a platform to these leakers and so-called transparency activists. We know the danger that Assange and his not-so-merry band of brothers pose to democracies around the world. Ignorance or misplaced idealism is no longer an acceptable excuse for lionizing these demons.

Third, we have to recognize that we can no longer allow Assange and his colleagues the latitude to use free speech values against us.To give them the space to crush us with misappropriated secrets is a perversion of what our great Constitution stands for. It ends now…

Julian Assange and his kind are not the slightest bit interested in improving civil liberties or enhancing personal freedom. They have pretended that America’s First Amendment freedoms shield them from justice. They may have believed that, but they are wrong.

Hi guys good morning I saw the Internet bill of rights didn't get much support and I wanted to talk about it a little bit here

2018-03-14 11:19:56 UTC

When I went on to sign the Internet bill of rights it didn't let me do it and when I went to find out more about why I couldn't sign it I got to reading on the petition website and it one point it said for more information to go to Obama White House and it had a link and I think we need to get someone over there and get that off of it that shouldn't be saying Obama White House anymore

2018-03-14 11:21:41 UTC

I'm using my iPhone and I have to drop this chat to look through my screenshots to find where I took a picture of this petition site where it says Obama White House for more information with the link.

If it’s written correctly it will kill profitability of data mining

They need to change whistleblower protection laws so they are easily enforced and there are swift penalties for illegal repercussions once you actually have the guts to blow the whistle

Why Google tries to ban cryptocurrency?

2018-03-14 14:31:13 UTC

"High-risk financial products"
What is the risk?
Who's exposed to that risk?

2018-03-14 14:32:44 UTC

Typical "people need to be protected from themselves" bs ... the essence of much big governance ideas

2018-03-14 14:35:53 UTC

Banks fighting for air imo. Listen to Bloomberg, Reuters, investing.com, cnbc.
They feel the ground shaking

2018-03-14 14:43:04 UTC

@deBeez I heard that the online petition idea was Obama’s and that Pres. trump never continued it.

This is extremely in depth...more Q crumbs and dot connectors than I've seen almost anywhere else @here

.., a classic 😃 - history lesson

Thanks I'll watch the 4 sure @phimonic

2018-03-14 15:31:48 UTC

@Watershed - and crypto investors. Everything else is an illusion, but crypto's aren't? interesting take on the topic: https://justpaste.it/Trojanhorse

2018-03-14 15:44:12 UTC

@Peter Banks dont like the concept of a decentralized bank and non-regulated financial products. Theyre losing control and power.
Crypto investors are simply gamblers. Just like playing the stock market. Players can read the market, good players can profit from it. I wouldnt say investors care that much as long as app developers base their design on blockchain. You will see more apps and services like D.Tube and it will work!

2018-03-14 15:46:01 UTC

... as long as there is electricity,.. ^^ ,.. just sayin' - have some crypto also, don't get me wrong,.. i often think about that as well, tho

2018-03-14 15:46:24 UTC

You mean as long as the sun shines?

2018-03-14 15:46:39 UTC

...as long as it stays decentralized also,..

2018-03-14 15:46:55 UTC

well ,.. imagine an EMP for example

2018-03-14 15:47:21 UTC

EMP shield... already exists

2018-03-14 15:48:19 UTC

the polar shift ,.. 90% of population gone,.. southpole in australia ,.. ,.. sun be still shinin' 😄

2018-03-14 15:48:38 UTC

,.. like i said,. just sayin' 😉

2018-03-14 15:48:47 UTC

Right.. polar shift :)

2018-03-14 15:49:16 UTC

maybe soon,.. we'll see what happens 😃

2018-03-14 15:49:41 UTC

.. but then for a while , we might live all like them Amish 😃

2018-03-14 15:49:57 UTC

Which is best

2018-03-14 15:50:37 UTC

yea - because then the dollar also no good, but to wipe your arse with it ^^

2018-03-14 15:50:38 UTC

As the note indicates, crypto's aren't bad, it is only if they (the quintessential they) find a way to CONTROL a decentralized medium. Spend 5 days thinking how you could do it. A case can be made they have spent decades thinking about it.

2018-03-14 15:51:00 UTC

yes, agree
