Logic against emotion isn't the best rebuttal to an emotional leftist ... Because in the leftist mind they start from and remain in their moral high ground. The conservative/liberty mindset person needs to not to walk into the box they define and by a trick question are trying to get you to voluntarily walk into. The goal is to quickly see through the question and reasonably deconstruct their motivation or underlying bias and ask them questions back.
