Ah! A fellow dishwasher
Ah, a fellow dish ghoul
👋
kek 👋
Others exiled to the pit whom can relate
Penis
Yes. Been some time since I've been in that kind of dishpit, but I know that can be a little grueling, especially alone, good luck unto you fellow ghoul
My pit does dishes for our restaurant, the sister restaurant (their machine can't process sheetpans or big things, it's a smaller machine), and catering events.
Starting mid 2020, we'll also be doing hotel dishes LOL
Oh god, I'm in the bathroom and I can hear carts of catering dishes being wheeled around before my shift starts
oof, I know catering can be a nightmare. currently I
ack I sent that to early
>sanitation change alarm going off and hear coworker scramble around
<:KEK:465443054254424065>
oh shit, welp that's not good
You know the pains though
I do, but the pit I work in now a days is on a campus in buffet style restaurant that does catering. But luckily to day is one of my two days off
Aaah
We used to be a buffet style restaurant
I work at a casino
Oh. Neato!
They started me on a Friday during the busiest season when we were extremely understaffed and I was just like "what the fuck did I sign up for"
Now we're understaffed again, two dudes threw out their backs <:deepfry:557778579828768770>
I gtg but yaaay other dish ghouls 👋
Well have a good shift
Good luck<:salute:558007048122400795>
@SheepTeeth I once worked at a mcdicks and i got transferred over for the sole role of dishwashing.. they literally didnt fucking wash anything and just threw it in the back where dishes are washed until they *ran out of dishes to run the kitchen with*. So i literally spent 5 fucking hours washing about 90% of the dishes for the entire fucking mcdicks. I'm sure my hands lost an entire layer of skin that night because of the strength of the fucking soap they use and i had NO time to spare because these retards by the time I got there were fucking using dirty *everything*. One of the chef's names was Snowflake.
There were 3 carts that had dirty shit piled up on them and it was a 4-5 foot tall pile of shit for each of them. (On top of a full goddamn sink)
good 'ol McDindus
Gotta love a dons
Fuck
Yikes
@nnqlnc that's the kind of nightmare I keep walking into when my shift starts because the dishpit is too much for my lazy coworker
Except that my cooks have no tolerance for using dirty shit over and over so they bully my coworker to get shit done or just hop into the pit and do it themselves if me or another coworker aren't there
The cooks on my line apparently have personality and ego issues (?) Ive heard about but everyone has been super nice to me since I started (minus a couple instances)
My manager is cool enough to jump into the dishpit for a couple hours of we're super short staffed and overworked
Yeah, knowing how mcdonalds is run, stay the fuck away from that place. Like what corporate claims that they're doing "good" accually matters when it comes to when you pay your workers the least you can and try to skim as much as you can from that aswell. Like they give a fuck how long that meat's been sitting.
Oh god, oh no
The new guy that was starting tomorrow couldn't pass the background test
😂
We're understaffed again, FUCKIN LMFAO 😂 😂 😂
The line cooks were super cool and helped me by washing and putting away a bunch of shit though
