I only seen some YT videos on the current Detroit status.
I would trade California for Alberta.
And I would throw in Detroit to sweeten the deal

So in the early 80's Detroit looked horrible.
Just microscopic enclave by the river with few Ford high rises and Joe Louis Arena.
All the way to 8 mile road was a jungle.
Now I hear that royal oak etc looks the same

In some places (mostly outskirts), nature it reclaiming entire *streets* from Detroit.

Those estimates don't surprise me. The city itself is just one of many problems Michigan faces.

We still have yet to recover from '08, Detroit, Lead, the '18 Elections, Flint, and Lead.

Also I will never forget the condition of interstate highways.
