and the area around me all the highway and low lands are flooded

Not much
it was very sudden and the rivers started swelling bad when the rain slowed down
it was raining for a few days and the Rivers filled up a bit but nothing bad
then it has all gone down hill since Saturday
did all the runoff and drainage finally make it into the rivers or something?
