The statue of liberty came much later in our development, and isn't a legal document. The constitution doesn't say much about it one way or another, but the founding fathers passed the first immigration law that did favor white immigration. And the founding fathers were entirely white and western european.

No, it's not a document but a symbol from our ally who fought beside us to build this country in the American Revolution. The constitution CLEARLY advocates that this is not a homogenous nation but one that WELCOMES anyone seeking refuge from an oppressive regime. Those founding fathers were British who had ancestors who were NOT born in England.
