@JDB Always be honest with yourself and to this plan add a logging and review phase.
Mon-Sat have a checklist like a grid of things you are supposed to do everyday. Mark them off as they are done.
Sunday review and if goals are not being met ask why.
It is far too easy to accidentally not do what you intend and slip off the track you set for yourself.

Can you honestly hold this schedule indefinitely?
How do you adjust for the unforseen/unusual?
If friends invite you out and it goes past 10 PM will you sleep less or move your schedule further?
If you don't sleep well do you fix your sleep that day and throw off the schedule or do you remain less productive that day?

This is a great exercise to do during your review phases on sunday btw.

My point to all this is that you need to push yourself, but you need to be realistic about how you do it. I suspect 8 straight hours of studying even with 15 minute breaks every hour will become unproductive after hour 4 or 5. If you can do it, great!
If you can't, adjust your plan.
If you don't practice introspection and review your work you will likely fail.

Well, welcome to it.

2019-03-02 13:51:10 UTC

@JDB That is great, if it works it works. If it doesn't revise.

2019-03-02 13:52:11 UTC

Science related videos on human behavior. Psychology mainly so far, but I do have a very diverse array of interests. Just no time. So mostly psychology as yet.

2019-03-02 13:52:29 UTC

I rather rigorously delve in to the science, publications, etc. Actually read the literature.

2019-03-02 13:52:32 UTC

Something most people don't do.

2019-03-02 13:53:03 UTC

So far, also, a lot to do on loneliness, incel related (in that incels are lonely), things like that.

2019-03-02 13:53:10 UTC

Oh so you are Wondering Wojak. It is a pleasure to meet you!
I love your content... even if it takes several rewatches to grasp. Haha.

2019-03-02 13:53:28 UTC

My boyfriend says I take too many words to say things >:I

2019-03-02 13:53:36 UTC

Fix me I'm broken :p

2019-03-02 13:54:59 UTC

If I'm a tourist can I wear a Hawaiian shirt?

2019-03-02 13:55:31 UTC

Maybe. I am just not statistically minded so it takes me some review to understand the points in terms of how does this data reflect the point.
Many people are verbose, obviously myself incldued.

2019-03-02 13:56:27 UTC

Well, that's infinitely better than a lot of "criticism" I receive. So far only from people who seem to think the very _idea_ of trying to investigate whether something is true is a heresy.

2019-03-02 13:56:39 UTC

Lots of them came out of the woodwork concerning corporal punishment.

2019-03-02 13:56:59 UTC

Feeling a bit slow on a subject is always preferable to giving up and assuming superiority.

2019-03-02 13:57:02 UTC

I mean, yeesh.
