I'm going to brush up on my Spanish, but first I'm going to do the research and talk to a few friends (expats) I plan on taking a one year vacation to my new country before deciding to settle in. The one thing I hear expats complain about is becoming bored.

Uruguay is culturally rich so there's almost always something to do/see

I'll have to look into how often I have to renew my visitors permit, how long I'm allowed to stay etc.
