Somehow he's convinced there's a version of the texts where Muhammad is not a violent pedophile. I don't know what that version is, and I've never seen him share his source.

According to Islam, there is no individual interpretation. Everything that is in the Quran comes straight from allah. I really don't see how he reconciles this

He's also a Shia quranist which means that he rejectes the Sunnah (Life and teachings of Mohammed). There's literally no Islam without it, so I don't know how he does it
