I am saying the old/rich people who live there during the summer and fall, do not what their 2nd home location to change
coming from a rich family I can attest to this. The military changed my opinions on a lot of shit
I am a pariah to my family
it is a VERY safe state though
Why are you a pariah to your family?
my family is very liberal
I used to be a libertarian
And now?
and now I am a Paleo/traditionalist
conservative-ish
those are all taken the same day
I am most certainly anti-equality and anti-egalitarian
People should not be equal under the law?
what does that mean?
equality under the law
It's very simple, no need to be sneaky.
do laws apply to people equally?
I'm asking if you believe in equal treatment before the law. For example, you can't have Jim Crow or affirmative action.
And lynchings are actually dealt with.
I believe in the spirit of it, but I think the phrase is a worn out meme and it makes my agent orange act up when people use it
(As are the more modern terrorists, Antifa.)
Your agent orange?
I say that when I get irritated
You get irritated by people mentioning equality before the law? Reminds of the feminists who say egalitarianism is an MRA invention.
not actually irritated
if we were voice chatting you'd get what I mean
I have a hard time typing this
I do not believe people are equal in any way shape or form
That's not what equality before the law is.
If people were so similar, the society we have would not exist.
the law also doesn't treat people equally
That is to say, equality before the law exists because people aren't equal.
There would be far less need for it if everyone was equal in all things.
However, it is regularly violated with affirmative action, and rights being extended to some that are not extended to others.
Just as the second amendment is violated by numerous acts of firearms legislation.
why do you think it is regularly violated?
