I think that a lot of white progressives bash their race because they think if people of color take over the country, they'll still have a seat at the table. They are wrong.

They bash their own race because they genuinely think that they are evil for being white, or at least they have to perform as if they do to gain acceptance in their own social circles. It honestly feels more like a giant pantomime the more I look at it.

Because these celebrities aren't giving their fortunes away to the supposedly downtrodden minorities, they're expecting everyone else to foot the bill for them and are hoping they can keep their heads above the coming tide of racial hatred. They're more wrong than they could ever realise.
