I was told this would be an English country.

2018-01-08 22:04:09 UTC

Diversity is our strength

2018-01-08 22:04:53 UTC

I thought this was America.

2018-01-08 22:08:05 UTC

maybe not America but definitely not the Tower of Babel. I think speaking Latin would be okay.

2018-01-08 22:08:39 UTC

We know de way now.

2018-01-08 22:11:18 UTC

@nuPlissken you made it worse with the squiggly line writing

2018-01-08 22:11:52 UTC

hey, hey, Thai could become an international language. The prime minister said so, lol

2018-01-08 22:13:28 UTC

His coconuts are broken. Lol

2018-01-08 22:14:38 UTC

Laotians, Cambodians, and I think the Burmese know some Thai because of the spicy soaps and satellite TV. World power soon.

2018-01-08 22:15:53 UTC

I really love boba and Thai tea though.

2018-01-08 22:16:29 UTC

I think the boba teas come from Taiwan, but it's big here too

2018-01-08 22:19:29 UTC

If spicy soaps is the path to world power then, Mexico shall dominate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yQNOYcQ18I

2018-01-08 22:20:28 UTC

Thai soaps always involve a sassy maid, a meddlesome mother-in-law, and some bad boy with multiple partners. I think the Mexican soaps might be similar?

2018-01-08 22:21:04 UTC

From what little I've seen all those things are present.

2018-01-08 22:21:11 UTC

Lol! Very similar. Are you a fan of boba too btw?

2018-01-08 22:21:47 UTC

kind of "high status" around these parts, but I like a boba once in a while if it's on the table

2018-01-08 22:23:41 UTC

How is boba high status there?

2018-01-08 22:24:37 UTC

most stuff from the "fancy" asian countries like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore is considered trendy and high status

2018-01-08 22:26:15 UTC

Lol I see some Asians are excluded there. What about Vietnamese pho?

2018-01-08 22:26:40 UTC

pho? gross it's not spicy

2018-01-08 22:28:54 UTC

I eat it when I'm sick. Really helps!

2018-01-08 22:29:32 UTC

I do that with egg flower soup. Which is double good because it is easy to make at home.

2018-01-08 22:29:34 UTC

they eat something called Jok here. it's like rice oatmeal: tasty and healthy.

2018-01-08 22:29:56 UTC

Your spice tolerance must be off the charts then?

2018-01-08 22:30:11 UTC

Wypepo can't handle spice

2018-01-08 22:30:40 UTC

yup, better import all 65mil Thais to bring that spicy ethnic cuisine, lol

2018-01-08 22:33:44 UTC

Please don't. Lol I haven't caught up on 90 day fiance to see more Thai thotery.

2018-01-08 22:36:50 UTC

that show is suprisingly accurate on thailand

2018-01-08 22:38:17 UTC

What show?

2018-01-08 22:38:38 UTC

90-day fiance. They do a bunch of different countries. It's pretty funny

2018-01-08 22:39:24 UTC

Ok

2018-01-08 22:39:37 UTC

They all have made me angry.

2018-01-08 22:40:35 UTC

It's a solid on not marrying foreigners and bringing them to America.

2018-01-08 22:40:43 UTC

they should do the bugman trying to wed the trad lady

2018-01-08 22:41:00 UTC

That wouldn't work.

2018-01-08 22:41:32 UTC

@nuPlissken so they tried to milk you of your money too?

2018-01-08 22:41:51 UTC

you mean the dowry?

2018-01-08 22:42:13 UTC

yeah, that's normal. especially if the woman is from a poor family (this for Thai-Thai marriages too)

2018-01-08 22:43:30 UTC

if the woman is from a rich family, and the man is not, the woman's family gives the groom a wad of cash and gold to display at the wedding, and then the woman's family gives it to the daughter secretly. That happened at my friend's wedding where his wife's family is one of the big mafia families in the south, lol

2018-01-08 22:44:22 UTC

in India the woman gives money to the man, now that's what I'm talkin' about
