it's odd how they can point to unproven, anecdotal assertions about men, or gamers, or whoever and say "we need invasive and unjust public policy to protecc wamen or minorities or trannies," and get it - but if i say "hey, we have to enforce strict immigration at the southern border or there won't be a country here worth immigrating to because immigrants are a net loss, they kill and rob citizens, drive wages down, destabilize this country, etc," or "we have to crack down on muslim immigration because look at europe, remember 9/11, they killed 300 people during Ramadan this year their holiest month, and i want to spare the lives of innocent people on American soil who they will surely kill; i consider the preventable loss of one innocent person to be more important than all the immigrants who will ever exist," I'm a racist, a xenophobe, a white supremacist, and I need to shut up because that's unamerican.

@Orwell & Goode A real big problem is that while a white person can never understand blackness etc. It is also assumed every minority person is an expert in whiteness. We don't live in a white man's world. We don't live in any person's world.

I have an idea for a story about a small town like this. But it won't go like this, and I won't for one moment pretend it's real.
I hate the itty bitty town I grew up in too. But you don't hear me whining about it.
What really gets my goat about the whole white privilege systemic opression thing is that it makes all kinds of assumptions. The worst being that everything is topographically uniform. Even if they were right (they're not) it's very easy for a white person to find themselves in a place where the "tools of systemic opression" have been grabbed by minorities for use against white people, which they feel no guilt about due to cultural indoctrination. This is assuming you buy the racism = power + prejudice thing. Sadly, many people are trained from birth to be prejudiced, and there are plenty of opporunities for them to have some kind of power over a white person in their lives. I know from experience when that happens there is no mechanism to address it at all.
Gotta admit, Brianna Wu sure can "pass" for a female member of congress.

Which, as it happens, is one of the reasons Trump caused the left to go out of its mind. He breaks all the rules they made to imprision Republicans, and right thought in general.
She did. What's absolutely mind-boggling though is, in the interaction between her and the person making the accusation, she comes across as sane.

There's only one boy (so far). Hilariously, that is my thrid favorite flavor of energy drink though. I don't like coffee so when I need caffine that's my go to. These days I'm trying to get my energy boost from ritalin.
