Don't get me started on the pope, I'll be here for days with my laundry list of irritations.....
It's a combination of what he chooses to emphasize and what the media wants to report. He's fairly conventional, but not terribly media saavy about how his words are going to be twisted to suit another agenda. I don't claim to understand everything he does, but I weigh the media's choice on what words and statements to report as much as what he says in general.
