It's alright, I've made some passable stuff on it, free and open source, supports VST and SFZ fairly well.
But in the end of the day you get what you pay for
I would like to say there are far better things out there. It's good for stuff like Synthwave and chiptune I would imagine just because all the reverbs and whatnot work in the plugins themselves

The problem comes when you try and do something that requires a bit more dynamics like orchestral or instrumental
There's some great orchestral samples but just because it's a tracker it's hard to do slow and long pieces
I'm confident that if I go into Synthwave autism it'll work well
