It may have actually been Americans that introduced fucking Abos to Australia.
Americans came here to hunt seals and took them as wives. Sometimes murdering the men to take them.
eg. They'd take a bunch of them out on a boat for a ride and then kick all the men out of the boat.

Turtles are pretty nice little things, assuming they're not the snapping type.

I've got no experience of them except for a disturbing vid I saw of one eating a mouse.
Yeah I don't doubt they eat large animals in a grotesque fashion but yeah I've encountered a number in the rivers around here and taken pictures of some, years ago. They don't attack unless they feel their life is threatened, like most snakes.
