straight razors are a tricky subject

I got into them as a restoration hobby

and basically for them to work

I don't mess with them tbh

you need to either buy a very very expensive new one

that has been professionally sharpened

I shave my head and I use a Mach 3

and learn how to maintain it

or you can go to antique shops and buy old ones

shaving with them is hard if they are not terrifyingly sharp

They are very nice but I'm not comfortable blindly shaving the back of my head with a straight edge
