@Sparky I've been considering a new smartphone to replace the once I've had since 2016, but I'm realizing that my phone is just fine.

Most people are concerned with purchasing wants over needs. My sister is a perfect example of that. She is making 17.98 an hour and is 130k in debt. And she is renting not buying the house she currently lives in.

Renting instead of buying is probably the smartest, if not involuntary, decision she appears to have made so far.
