Then "their" woman fucks half the neighborhood behind their back.
Ever heard of AWALT?
Well, if my GF ever do that, is the end of our relation, and I will go full mgtow
If you say so...
That's a big IF
Well, thats why I classified myself as purple pill
Ah
Gotcha
I know the dangers, but I will face the dangers even if I can loose everything
That seems very unwise, but I'm not going to tell you how to live your life.
What about you? How you classified yourself
That's a great question.
I used to be MGTOW Monk then I separated myself from it because I find MGTOW philosophy to be lacking in many regards. However, I'm still aware of gynocentrism, hypergamy, 80/20 rule, etc. and what not.
I also think that its become way more attractive to reactionaries as well. Which annoys me.
About the reactionaries.... The mgtow veterans need to stand up and shape theyr mentality
lol
Good luck with that. They can't police their comments sections without the risk of losing much of their support base.
If Stardusk or Colttaine were to ban people making racist comments, much of MGTOW would stop watching them.
Blah! Racist coments!
Let them comment theyr opinions
I also think that a man has to have a certain amount of wealth and access to money in order to go his own way as well.
You are not going your own way if you are poor.
Agreed
Thats why the line "focus on yourself, find a way of self improve" is one of my favorite lines
So, it's simply false consciousness if a man believes himself to be going his own way, yet he is working class or lives with his parents. That is in no way to shame men that may being do that, but it is just a reminder that class plays a role into which men can go their own way and which cannot.
Self improvement is only for those that can afford it. Other than that, it's just people telling themselves lies so that they don't have to feel shitty about their social and economic conditions.
what an interesting Statement @Seven Of Swords .
I suppose.
Low Social Status and Low Economic conditions, Will Cause Misery to those who desire to Climb the Ladder with no Results.
However, Wouldn't you Say High Social Status and Good Wealth Also Causes Problems for that individual. Those two people have different problems and expectations to their own surroundings within society. So now i Ask the Question can you be happy within Social/Economic systems with the right mentality with the right amount of money. Or will the System always drag the individual to unfavorable situations and Pressures of Society.
@ZODD That is a great set of questions. The whole individual vs society discussion is an intriguing one. Can we ever hope to be authentic in a society that wishes for us to act on bad faith even within our more mundane social interactions?
I think that they both beg the questions of at what point are we to be satisfied with the social systems that people act in and at what point are we to be satisfied with our own social surroundings? Can we ever hope to live to be happy if we always live in a society with problems?
Are we to consider happiness as a self-fulfilling state that can be reached even in the most horrendous circumstances? Or is it the circumstances that dictate if people are to be happier than others?
I'm more of a high-roller, if you will. If it comes down to everyone else having to change their own social conditions in order for me to suffer less while living in this society, then so be it. However, if we will always have a society with problems, I don't see in what way we should even want to try to keep a society going if the individuals within the society will always find themselves suffering. Either we have a society in which every individual is living the life that they want to live, or we should not have a society at all.
I know that that position may seem absurd, or even downright impossible, but any other way would seek to have individuals arbitrarily deciding which groups of people get to suffer and which do not without any way to remedy the issue. I do not think that this is an issue with an ill-defined abstraction such as "human nature", but rather the inability for us to manage a division of labor combined with a surplus of resources. Its been 5-10,000 years of people doing dumb shit for social organization expecting it to change yet still having people disadvantage themselves.
A great movie that highlights the issue of the individual and society is called "A Clockwork Orange" direct by Stanley Kubrick. Its a great film and I think that many MGTOW will enjoy it, even though I'm not MGTOW myself.
You may also want to check out my YouTube channel. I talk about all of these topics lol
@Seven Of Swords , that's a Good analysis, There's Definitely More Questions than Answers on the Topic, and Scientific Studies have not popularized the notion of fixing this or addressing any of this in recent times. Obviously there are Solutions but at what price will we pay for them. Sigh.
Oh hi there, we meet again.
